As my daughter said: this was the day when we petted Salli-the-dog on the back yard and you spread yarns all over the living room floor.
I wrote this sentence down immediately because it described the day so well. Yarn all over the floor and two knitters rummaging through the yarn, petting soft skeins and throwing ideas at each other to decide which yarn would suit which design. This was a great day!
Tyttären sanoin: se oli se päivä kun me silitettiin Salli-koiraa takapihalla ja te levititte olkkarin täyteen lankoja.
Kirjoitin äkkiä lauseen talteen koska sen paremmin sitä päivää ei olisi voinut kuvailla. Lattia täynnä lankoja ja kaksi neulojaa penkomassa lankakasaa, silittelemässä pehmeitä vyyhtejä ja heittelemässä ideoita siitä mikä lanka sopisi mihinkin malliin. Mahtavuutta!
