Would you like to take part of our project - Haluaisitko olla mukana kirjaprojektissa?

One theme of our book will be the knitters' community and we need you to make this part possible and visible.
You can help us in two ways, take part both or one of them, but join us.


The first part is The Scarf. 

Beta-testing of this part has been going on in Ravelry Hiekkis-group and we've got many great knitted pieces of scarf and found out the good way to give instructions.

How?
Knit a part of the scarf. Width 25 cm / 10", lenght what ever you want. Pattern, what ever you want as well as material. Send then your part of the scarf and information of you (Rav etc. nick is enough), material info and pattern name if you use someone elses design, to us. Deadline is end of March 2011.

Where do I send the scarf?
You'll get the snail mail address by sending email to tikrumurr at gmail dot com or villapeikko at yahoo dot com.

We'll use the scarf in our book and after that we'll find out the good way to use it for charity.


The Second part is The Poll

We're gathering non-scientific information about knitting community for our knitting book project. You can go and fill the poll here.
By filling in the form, you give us a permission to use your answers along your nick in our book. For example: "I like wool yarns the best - Tikru, knitting acively for 6 years

With all the answeres and scarf knitters we will raffle our books after it is published.

Yksi teema kirjassamme on neulojien yhteisöllisyys, ja tarvitsemmekin teitä neulojia tämän osan näkyväksi tekemisessä. Voit avittaa meitä kahdella tapaa, voit tehdä molemmat tai vain toisen.


Ensimmäinen osio - Huivi
Beta-testausvaiheessa tätä osiota varten valjastimme Hiekkiksen ryhmän Ravelrysta käyttöömme ja saimmekin hienoa palautetta huivipalasten muodossa, että selkeämmissä ohjeissa julkistamista varten.


Miten?
Neulo palanen huiviin. Leveys on 25 cm / 10", pituus mitä ikinä haluat. Mallineule ja materiaali myöskin on vapaasti valittavissa. Lähetä neulottu palanen mukanaan tiedot materiaalista ja mallineuleesta, mikäli se on jonkin toisen suunnittelijan tekemästä ohjeesta sekä tietenkin tietoa sinusta itsestäsi, Ravelry-nimi tai vastaava riittää.
Takaraja huiville on maaliskuun loppu kuluvaa vuotta.

Laita sähköpostia joko tikrumurr at gmail piste com tai villapeikko at yahoo piste com, niin saat etanapostiosoitteen, johon lähettää tuotoksesi.

Toinen osio - Kysely

Keräämme ei-tieteellistä tietoa neuleyhteisöstä linkin takana olevalla kyselyllä.
Vastaamalla annat meille samalla luvan käyttää vastauksiasi nimimerkillä kirjassamme. (Esim. Pidän kovasti villalangasta - Tikru, neulonut aktiivisesti 6 vuotta).

Vastaajien ja huivineulojien kesken arvomme kirjojamme sen julkaisun jälkeen.
